It’s worth noting that many podcast hosts need guests during the “dead of winter” and “heat of summer.” They may have even had cancelations. Why not reach out? You can post a recap of this podcast on your website as a blog post (100 words) with a link to where people can listen.
If being a podcast guest is out of your comfort zone, why not write about why you started your business. What keeps you going? Did you buy or inherit the family business? What did you learn before you became a business owner that has been helpful to you now?
After you’ve written at least 300 words, and ensured you have all of these items, be sure to delete this prompt. We wouldn’t want that published.
Blog Checklist:
A 1200 x 628 pixel featured image. Create one on canva.com. It’s free. Save it as a jpg because it’s the smaller size. Be sure you name your image something that makes sense. Name it with the headline and “featured-image.”
Write an alt tag (alternative text) for your featured image when you upload it to the media library. I usually say “featured image for [title of blog post]”
A 155 character meta description (snippet) and focus keyword
